JACKALBERRY
JACKALBERRY COLLECTION MUCHENJE SAFARI PARK, CHOBE NATIONAL PARK
Botswana | Chobe
Botswana’s Chobe National Park remains one of Africa’s prime wildlife areas. Its close proximity to the world-renowned Victoria Falls makes it an essential part of any visit to the region. The magnificent Chobe river and floodplains filled with huge herds of buffalo and elephant and flocks of waterfowl winging their way toward the sunset, create an enduring memory of the wild splendour of this majestic corner of old Africa. The Chobe River forms the northern border of Botswana and is also the termination of the long migratory road to perennial water. The dry season forces wildlife in abundance to the waters of the river resulting in tremendous safari opportunities.

This exclusive lodge is situated within the Chobe Forest reserve on the western boundary of Chobe National Park. The lodge is uniquely placed, as no other lodges base their operations within this sector of the reserve. The lodge accommodates twenty guests in thatched en-suite bungalows all overlooking the floodplains of the Chobe River and Namibia’s Caprivi Strip. The central lodge with combined dining and lounge areas is spectacular, commanding magnificent views of the Chobe floodplains. Each day you have the option of joining the early morning walks, which are quite outstanding, or a vehicle safari in the mid-morning and in the late afternoon.
