Superb wildlife experiences in the form of vehicle and foot safaris are possible at a wide variety of exciting venues. Close encounters with lion, leopard and cheetah, Africa's big feline predators are possible at the private game reserves under the guidance of trained and experienced game rangers. Enjoy quality sightings of elephant, rhino and buffalo and a wide variety of other wildlife and bird life in this fascinating wildlife area.

Superb game viewing opportunities are available in the Timbavati Nature Reserve, the Sabi Sand Game Reserve, the Manyeleti Game Reserve and in private wildlife conservancies near Hoedspruit.

The savanna and bush of the Kruger National Park rise up to meet the bulk of the Drakensberg Mountains, which forms the divide between the Lowveld (Lowlands) and the Highveld (Highlands). This is an area of imposing mountains, waterfalls, grassy meadows and some of the most beautiful scenery in Africa. Visits to attractions such as World's View, God's Window, Blyde River Canyon, Long Tom Pass and Pilgrim's Rest are experiences never to be forgotten. Hiking in the mountains, trout fishing, touring and relaxing are primary activities in this beautiful area. Hazyview provides a perfect base for exploring this area and the nearby Kruger National Park.
